What is the real value of the following:

1991 $25 Gold American Eagle (1/2 ounce) MS69 condition

The slightly-annoying salesman from UCB is trying to tell me that $2450 is a good price for one.

I know it is overpriced; my question is, by how much?

Half ozt is $454.
Add $30 for grading NGC
Add $50 premium

Total $534....thats my final offer.

The real value of a half ounce of gold as I type this is... $453.35

add $100 for premium and you get $505ish

I was not really interested in going numismatic anyways, sounds like these guys are trying to figure out how much they can take me for.
